Frank Baum. It follows the same basic story line with a mixture of the musical motion picture, The Wiz; however, the foundation is spiritually influenced by the Good News of Jesus Christ. The main characters still have the same needs: a brain (wisdom), a heart (love), courage (boldness), and a sense of home and belonging. The names have changed and their journeys are different, but the path still leads to one answer.
