14 is the annual Akron LUNAFEST, a film festival featuring award-winning short
films by, for, and about women. This unique film program highlights the
richness of women’s stories, illustrated through short films. LUNAFEST
will be held at the the UU Church of Akron across from Summit Mall 3300
Moorwood Dr on Saturday March 14.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Two
showings at 3 pm and 7 pm. All proceeds from the event benefit UUWA programming
and the Breast Cancer Fund. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Tickets are
$12 at the door and $10 on line at <a id="yui_3_16_0_1_1425932712986_15098" href="http://www.uuwakron.org/">www.uuwakron.org</a>.
Started in 2001, LUNAFEST was developed to support female artists and their
