<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">You will be
a part of Cleveland Public Theatre’s Station of Hope, a multi-art event that
celebrates the Underground Railroad and the hope for freedom and justice today scheduled
for Saturday, May 9, 2015. Rehearsal
schedule is approximately 2 days a week and a bit more when we get closer to
performance. Rehearsal site and time to
be determined ASAP. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">Vickie
Williams’ one-act play, “Imagine Freedom,” powerfully captures the indomitable strength
and wisdom of Susanna King Taylor. Born
under slavery in 1848, Miss King became the first black army nurse, first
teacher to former slaves in Georgia and author of “Reminiscences of My Life in
Camp,” an account of life in the 33<sup>rd</sup> United Colored Troops during the
Civil War. </span></p>
