<div dir="ltr"><p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"><span><span style="width:168px;height:61px"></span></span><b>Position: Theater Director</b></p><p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"><b>Job Description</b></p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">Candidate will have some theater experience, and preferably
directing experience (although directing is not mandatory), and have enthusiasm
for “theater as a cause.” </p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">Candidate should have a background in and passion for youth work.
</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">Candidate should be familiar with how to recognize intimate
partner abuse, and prevention education, <b><u>OR</u></b>
will attend trainings with the Know Abuse teens.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">This candidate will work closely with, and be supervised by,
the Prevention Coordinator.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">The candidate must be open to the idea of peer leadership,
and will work closely and collaborate with teen actors and peer leaders.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">This candidate will be responsible for:</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><ol style="margin-top:0in" start="1" type="1">
 <li class="MsoNormal">Participating
     in the May 3^rd, 2015 Kick-Off retreat.</li>
</ol><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:0.25in"> </p><ol style="margin-top:0in" start="2" type="1">
 <li class="MsoNormal">Preparing
     and rehearsing the cast during summer training 4 evenings a week for 4
     weeks in June/July, and two weeks plus season kick-off in August.</li>
</ol><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><ol style="margin-top:0in" start="3" type="1">
 <li class="MsoNormal">Rehearsing
     the cast for 2-4 hours (to be determined by Director) the Sunday before a
     performance. This is usually once-twice a month.</li>
</ol><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center">

 <li class="MsoNormal">Attend
     and help Coordinator with once-monthly all-group meetings. This might
     include, but is not limited to:</li>
 <ol style="margin-top:0in" start="1" type="a">
  <li class="MsoNormal">Leading
      team-building exercises</li>
  <li class="MsoNormal">Administrative
      work such as collecting signatures</li>
  <li class="MsoNormal">Keeping
      teens on task</li></ol>
