Guild Theatre announces upcoming auditions for the 2015-2016 season opening musical,
JEKYLL & HYDE.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>The JEKYLL & HYDE
production team includes: Michael Lawrence Akers, Director/Choreographer;
Joshua Erichsen, Producing Artistic Director; and Steve Parsons, Music Director.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:115%">Based on
Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic thriller, Jekyll & Hyde is the gripping
tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry, set to a powerful pop-rock
score by Frank Wildhorn with book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. In an attempt
to cure his ailing father’s mental illness by separating “good” from “evil” in
the human personality, talented physician Dr. Jekyll inadvertently creates an
alternate personality of pure evil, dubbed Mr. Hyde, who wreaks murderous havoc
on the city of London. As his fiancée Emma grows increasingly fearful for her
betrothed, a prostitute, Lucy, finds herself dangerously involved with both the
doctor and his alter ego. Struggling to control Hyde before he takes over for
good, Jekyll must race to find a cure for the demon he has created in his own
mind.</span></p>

will be held at the Players Guild Theatre located in the Cultural Center for
the Arts, 1001 Market Ave N., Canton, on Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14 from
7:00 – 9:30 PM.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:
normal">All roles are available and non-traditional casting will be considered
for all roles</b>.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Interested parties who
are 16 years of age or older, should sign up for a time slot by filling out the

callbacks are scheduled to be held on Wednesday, July 15. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>The cast meet & greet and read thru will
be held on Wednesday, July 22^nd.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> 
</span>Rehearsals are scheduled to begin Sunday July 26th, and will run Sunday
- Thursday evenings from 7-10pm.</span></p>

Fry Theatre production is scheduled to open on Friday, September 4, 2015 and
will run through Sunday September 20, 2015 with Friday and Saturday performances
