</head><body><p><br></p><p>CASSIDY THEATRE is accepting resumes for acting, voice and musical theatre teachers for our youth and adult fall<br>classes.<br><br>Youth classes take place Saturday morning/afternoon and adult classes take place<br>weekday evenings. YCF151<br>Here’s a super fun way for the youngest students to get their start in theatre! This non-stressful approach to basic acting, singing and movement will teach the littlest stars how to twinkle! This class will work on imagination, memorization and teamwork, as well as the technical basics of putting on a show. Parents are welcome to stay and participate in all class sessions (except for the final performance – that is for the STARS!) Class open to students ages 4 – 7.</p><p><br></p><p>ACT-OUT! YCF152<br>In this awesome acting class, students will be instructed in improvisation, character work, voice and movement and be introduced to basic acting techniques.</p><p>Students will also learn some basic terminology pertaining to performance and working on stage. The class is designed to benefit students of all abilities and experience levels (basic reading skills are a HUGE plus). Get ready to get on your feet and ACT-OUT! Class is open to students age 8 – 12.</p><p><br></p><p>SHAKESPEARE SHAKE-UP! YCF153 A little history, a little acting, a lot of fun – all the ingredients for a total Shakespeare Shake-Up! In this introduction to the life and works of the master himself, students will get a glimpse into the days of William Shakespeare and his influence on theatre today. They will interpret the text, act out the words, but most of all have a ton of fun in this non-intimidating, super imaginative awesome class! Class open to students ages 10 – 13.</p><p><br></p><p>OH-NO, AUDITIONS! YCF154<br>Are you anxious when you hear the dreaded “A” word? Does the mere thought of going to an audition make your tummy hurt? You are not the only one! Students will learn how to get ready for and preform at auditions in this fun, relaxing, stress-free class. Cold readings, monologs, song choice – students will learn everything from what to prepare to what to bring to what to wear! The most exciting part – the last class meeting will be a mock audition for a professional theatre director! Class open to students ages 12 – 19.</p><p><br></p><p>BRAVO! YCF155<br>This active and exciting class will focus on the aspects of musical theatre - singing, acting, and dance. Students will take part in each of these areas, as well as develop audition skills, learn acting techniques and build confidence to perform onstage. This class will benefit students of all ability and experience levels. Class open to students ages 7-12.</p><p><br></p><p>ENCORE! YCF156<br>This active and exciting class will focus on the aspects of musical theatre - singing, acting, and dance. Students will take part in each of these areas, as well as develop audition skills, learn acting techniques and build confidence to perform onstage. Students will learn the aspects of various techniques, while working on voice, movement, stage presence and building a character. As an added bonus, students will work on the dreaded “cold-read” and other audition skills. This class will benefit students at the beginning – intermediate level. Class is open to adults 19 years and older.</p><p><br></p><p>MONOLOUGE MAKEOVER ACF159<br>Are you afraid of the big, bad monologue? So are lots of folks! Do not pass up another audition after reading “monologue required” in the notice. This class will go out of the box to change the scary, intimidating process of learning an audition monologue into a creative fun experience you will enjoy! Really! Learn to perform monologues by developing character, voice and movement and start building your repertoire now! This class will benefit students at the beginning – intermediate level. Class is open to adults 19 years and older.</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">I<strong>NDIVIDUAL STUDY</strong></span><br></p><p><br></p><p>INDIVIDUAL STUDY ISF15O</p><p>Cassidy Theatre now offers individual, weekly lessons in acting or voice for students age 6 through adult.
