Being an indie filmmkaer, we wanted to add to the resources for the community in which we live.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"><br></div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;">WHAT IS THE OFFICE OF THE FILM CZAR?</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="">IT IS NOT A FILM COMMISSION. It is a way to provide resources for the local independent film community in Northeast, Ohio. We feel that the more filmmakers there are in Northeast Ohio who succeed, the better it will be for all of us. Since Prelude2Cinema is a business, we will work out business relationships with the filmmakers we provide services for. Cleveland already has a Film Commission who provides services for Hollywood movies and indie filmmakers. In our opinion, the Film Commissioner does a fine job. Yet, being born and bred here and making movies here over the years, Prelude2Cinema has a great insight into what is needed by the indie film community.
