Helms was born and raised in the Akron area. She has worked for 18 years (and
counting) for Record Publishing Co., the last 10 of those years covering local
and regional entertainment. April has taken playwriting classes and workshops,
and dabbled in the art, but this is her first serious effort at a play. Other
interests include acting, music, reading and painting.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:6.0pt" class=""> </span><b class="">About The Boiling
