Davis and Jim Foote.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> <i>The story: The neighborhood children have labeled Prunella Crookshank “Cranky” Crookshank – she never smiles, is always<o:p></o:p></i></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> shooing them away, and worst of all – doesn’t believe in Christmas! When Santa’s spectacles are lost and become confused<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> with Prunella’s, she wears them, and all of a sudden becomes merry and lovely. But Santa must have his specs back so he can <o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> make his Christmas Eve visit to all the children! Prunella returns them, only to find life becoming stale and gloomy again. Then<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> Jingles, a little elf, gives Prunella a smile for Christmas, and once she wears it, her own glasses stay in place and start showing<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'> her a bright, happy world around her.<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt'>Auditions for “Santa’s Spectacles” will be on Sunday, October 25, at 3:00 at the Heritage Barn (Young Rd. entrance to Silver Springs Park), and on Monday, October 26, at 7:00 at the Stow Acme Community Room (4445 Kent Rd., Stow).<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt'>Lots of roles for children of all ages – adults, too!
