<p class="MsoNormal">Cleveland Play House, America’s first regional theatre and recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is accepting applications for a Young Performer Supervisor to work on our production of A CHRISTMAS STORY from Tue., Nov. 18 through
Wed., Dec. 21. This Supervisor will work with a second Young Performer Supervisor on the daily management of seven young performers and three young understudies on the production. Regular duties include:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">a) Communicate with parents of young performers on a daily basis.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">b) Report any issues concerning young performers to the stage manager in a timely manner.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">c) Oversee drop-off and pick-up of young performers by their parents/guardians in rehearsal hall and theatre.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">d) Ensure that young performers arrive to all entrances on time during rehearsals and performances.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">e) Collaborate with the second Young Performer Supervisor to establish a consistent track for the young performers during performances.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">f) Oversee completion of school work when young performers are not actively in rehearsal/performance (supervisors are not expected to act as tutors, but are expected to keep young performers focused).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">g) Assist in running lines and reviewing blocking as needed.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">h) Other duties as assigned by stage management.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Experience working with children required. Experience working in stage management or run crew on live theatre productions is a plus. The Young Performer Supervisor will need to pass a criminal background check prior to first day of employment.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Qualified applicants must be able to follow instructions, be reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Hours are mostly nights and weekends with some afternoon calls.
