<font size="2">Director Andrew Knode will be joined by his “Entertainment Pix”
co-host Gary Kiser in introducing the Variety Show’s performers to the
excitement and challenge of a live TV production. This will be the
first live stage show for the TV production company that broadcasts regularly
on local cable channels. Audience members also can look forward to a
new experience as they watch the TV style of the event. The production
will be staged for the Medina County Arts Council’s 2015 fall
fundraiser, titled<i>“The Medina County Variety Show,” </i>on <span tabindex="0" class=""><span class="">Sunday, November 8</span></span>, at <span tabindex="0" class=""><span class="">7 p.m.</span></span> at the Haddad Theater, in Broadway Hall in Medina. </font></span></div><div style="margin:0px;font-family:Times;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;line-height:normal;font-size-adjust:none;font-stretch:normal;font-variant:normal"><font size="2"><span style="letter-spacing:0px">
Tickets for the Variety Show are being sold at Buehler’s stores in
Brunswick, Wadsworth, and Medina, and at The Medina County Convention
and Visitors Bureau on Medina Square. They can also be purchased on
line at <a href="http://www.medinacountyartscouncil.org" target="_blank"><span>www.medinacountyartscouncil.org</span></a>. In addition, tickets may be purchased for a special <span tabindex="0" class=""><span class="">2 p.m.</span></span>
show on the same day. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and
students 12 and under. Committee members and Arts Council trustees
want to make the Showcase available to many, so ticket prices are kept
in an affordable range. According to a committee spokesperson, “In
response to the growth of Medina County, the organization’s board of
trustees recognizes the need to provide funds for grants that encourage
and support growing and needed local arts activities, and our committee
appreciates the work to help us by the local TV staff led by Knode and
Kiser.“</span></font></div><div style="margin:0px;font-family:Times;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;line-height:normal;font-size-adjust:none;font-stretch:normal;font-variant:normal"><font size="2"><span style="letter-spacing:0px">
Extra support for the event comes from local businesses and
individuals through program ads, patron contributions, and in-kind
donations. Money raised will go toward the current efforts of the
Council to increase funding for grants to county non-profit arts
organizations, schools, and special arts activities in the county. </span></font></div><div style="margin:0px;font-family:Times;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;line-height:normal;font-size-adjust:none;font-stretch:normal;font-variant:normal"><font size="2"><span style="letter-spacing:0px">
Experienced and popular performers will include: Jim Gill, James and
Heather Kovach, the Medina Centre for Dance Art, Denny Miller and
others. The script has been written by Kiser and Knode based on a story
by Karl Kiser and Martin Carlton. The Stage Manager and Assistant

The production is promoted by the Arts Council’s fundraiser Steering

The theater stage is in the County Administration Building at 144
N. Broadway in Medina, with free parking in the lot behind the building
