<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">Laurel School, an all-girls Pre-K-12 independent school in Shaker Heights, seeks a high school, college, or professional male to play the lead role of Monty in their Upper School main stage musical production.
There is a stipend for professional actors. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond; font-style: italic;">Violet </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">tells the story of a young disfigured woman who embarks on a journey
by bus from her farm in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, all the way to Tulsa, Oklahoma in order to be healed.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Garamond;">A paratrooper and Flick's friend from basic training. Rough around the edges. Self-consumed, but not necessarily purposefully so. Fighting his own demons.<br>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">The production rehearses most days Monday through Friday, with occassional Saturdays, from now through the last week of February. Rehearsals are typically held from 3:30pm-5:30pm (and later until 6:00
and 6:30pm). All rehearsals and shows are held at Laurel School’s Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights. The production runs from Thursday February 25</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: Garamond; vertical-align: 5pt;">th</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">-
Saturday February 27</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: Garamond; vertical-align: 5pt;">th</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">. This production is also part of the Playhouse Square High School Musical Theater Awards program,
and the Dazzle Awards ceremony held on Saturday May 21</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: Garamond; vertical-align: 5pt;">st</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Garamond;">, 2016 at the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square.</span></p>
