<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;">Mercury Theatre Company and Notre Dame College’s Performing Arts have joined forces to launch a Junior Company for emerging young artists. This ten-week program invites 12 rising high
school students to participate in an immersive theatrical experience like no other!

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;">The first portion of the Junior Company introduces you to the professional life of a performer. While rehearsing alongside the adult company 8 students prepare to perform in the area
premiere of <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Disney’s The Little Mermaid </i>
while 4 students interested in only technical aspects of theatre get to work alongside the tech staff of their interest.

During the second half, students receive pre-collegiate training from Notre Dame College. Classes include acting, voice, improv, movement and dance as well as technical aspects of theatre. Students also have the opportunity to earn college credit through this

<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Disney’s The Little Mermaid </i>(August 5-20, 2016). Rehearsals for
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">The Little Mermaid</i> begin July 11. This does not prevent you from being part of My Mercury! Theatre Intensive.

"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">Students take master classes from actors, directors, choreographers and artists

"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">10 specified training day classes at Notre Dame College will focus on voice, dance,
acting, improv and audition technique for the performance track. For technical classes will focus on build, paint, stage makeup, stage management and costume design.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="mso-fareast-font-family:
"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">At the end of the program there will be a showcase of the student’s talent with

"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">The total cost for each participant is $500.00. There is also a photo shoot for

solid dance technique, and the ability to connect with an audience to tell the story.</span></p>
