<div class="_2cuy _3dgx _2vxa">Mercury Theatre Company (MTC), is seeking to hire a qualified individual for Technical Director.<br>

<br>

This position is currently a seasonal position and will start on or around May 4th and end August 25, 2016. The position has growth potential to become year round.<br>

<div class="_2cuy _3dgx _2vxa"><span class="_5yi-">Technical Director</span>: with career maturity, for daily oversight and supervision of all scenic aspect of our program including construction, coordination and build of all shows, desired skills include:

 ability to supervise and lead by example when necessary, ensure proper health & safety regulations, train(if needed) on proper usage & safety of tools, and execute tight production schedule. Proven ability as a carpenter, draftsman, and theatre technician

 with experience in rigging and utilizing standard mechanical devices (electric winches,turntables, pneumatic cylinders, etc.) is required. Good communication skills and the ability to organize and direct crews. Proven skills and aptitude in word processing

 and spreadsheet programs. Understanding of basic budgeting and book keeping practices. Competitive stipend.<br>
