YCF151 </strong></p><p><strong>Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. </strong></p><p>Here’s a super fun way for the youngest students to get their start in theatre! This non-stressful approach to basic acting, singing and movement will teach the littlest stars how to twinkle! The students will work on imagination, memorization and team work, as well as the technical basics of putting on a show. </p><p>Class open to students ages 4 – 7.</p><p><strong>ACT-OUT! YCF152</strong></p><p><strong>Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. </strong>In this awesome acting class, students will be instructed in improvisation, character work, voice and movement and be introduced to basic acting techniques. Students will also learn some basic terminology pertaining to performance and working on stage. The class is designed to benefit</p><p>students of all abilities and experience levels (basic reading skills are a HUGE plus). Get ready to get on your feet and ACT-OUT! Class is open to students age 8 – 12.</p><p><strong>SHAKESPEARE SHAKE-UP! YCF153</strong></p><p><strong>Saturdays, 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. </strong><br>A little history, a little acting, a lot of fun – all the ingredients for a total Shakespeare Shake-Up! In this introduction to the life and works of the master himself, students will get a glimpse into the days of William Shakespeare and his influence on theatre today. They will interpret the text, act out the words, but most of all have a ton of fun in this non-intimidating, super imaginative awesome class!</p><p>Class is open to students ages 10 - 13.</p><p><strong>ACT-UP! YCF157 Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. </strong></p><p>This acting class will instruct students in improvisation, character work, voice and movement and basic acting techniques, as well as basic terminology pertaining to performance and working on stage. YCF154 Saturdays, 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. </strong></p><p>Does the word “audition” fill your heart with anxiety? Does the mere thought of going to an audition make your tummy hurt? You are not the only one! Students will learn how to prepare an audition in this fun,</p><p>relaxing, stress-free class. Cold readings, monologues, song choice - students will learn everything from what to prepare to what to bring to what to wear! The last class meeting will be a mock audition for a</p><p>professional theatre director! Class open to students ages 12 – 19.</p><p><strong>BRAVO! YCF155 Saturdays, 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. </strong></p><p>This active and exciting class focuses on the aspects of musical theatre - singing, acting, and dance. Students will take part in each of these areas, as well as develop audition skills, learn acting techniques and build confidence to perform onstage. This class will benefit</p><p>students of all ability and experience levels. Class is open to students ages 7-12.</p><p><strong>ENCORE! YCF156 Saturdays, 12:40 p.m.-1:40 p.m. </strong></p><p>This active and exciting class focuses on the aspects of musical theatre - singing, acting, and dance.
