Summit, Akron’s professional theater, announces the Regional Premiere of <b><i>CHAPATTI
</i></b>by Christian O’Reilly.  This
funny and touching love story is set in Dublin. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The show
will have a preview performance on February 25 with the official opening on
Friday night, February 26.  <i>CHAPATTI</i> is currently scheduled for a 12
performance run, closing on March 13. 
Performances are given Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 8:00
P.M. and Sundays at 2 PM, and take place at Greystone Hall, in downtown Akron.  A free dessert reception with the cast
follows the opening night performance on Friday, February 26.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Romance is a distant memory for two lonely animal lovers
living in Dublin.  When Dan and his dog
Chapatti cross paths with Betty and her nineteen cats, an unexpected spark is
struck.  Two older isolated people play
out a warm and gentle story about rediscovering the importance of human
companionship.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The critically acclaimed play is written by Galway
playwright Christian O’Reilly and had its premiere performance at Northlight
Theatre in Chicago. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The play is being directed by Brian Zoldessy.  This is his first directing assignment at
Actors’ Summit, but he has received critical acclaim for his two title role
performances in <i>Einstein </i>and <i>Freud’s Last Session</i>.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The role of Betty is performed by Anne McEvoy, who has
performed with Actors’ Summit in the past as well as at Great Lakes Theatre
Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, Ensemble Theater, and Dobama among others.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The role of Dan is performed by Neil Thackaberry the founder
of Actors’ Summit.</span></p>
