<b>Scott Spence</b>—the man responsible for the Beck Center’s record-breaking production

<i>Evil Dead: The Musical</i>, <i>Reefer Madness</i>, and <i>Eating Raoul</i>. “Musicals born from cult movies have been perhaps my favorite projects over the years at Beck Center, especially ones that we produce in the Studio Theater,” said Spence. "I am excited

 to add the wickedly funny <i>Heathers</i> to that mix, a musical that manages to combine the blackest of comedy with a wonderful sense of social commentary that rings as true today as it did when the film premiered in 1989.”
