GREEN” Thursday through Sunday, July 7-10, 2016 at the Broadview Center, 9543
Broadview Road. Admission and parking
are free, and there will be fireworks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:00
PM. <o:p id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4374"></o:p></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4375"><o:p id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4376"> </o:p></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4377">The event features live entertainment throughout the weekend as well as
a nearby beer garden to relax and enjoy the music. “Red Light Roxy”, <b id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4378">sponsored by Danbury Senior Living,</b>
will be playing on Thursday night from 7:00-10:00PM. The group plays an upbeat mix of jazz standards,
jump blues, swing, boogie-woogie and a dash of old-school R&B. Its
repertoire comes from the Great American Songbook and includes familiar songs
made famous by such legendary performers as Ella Fitzgerald, Ruth Brown, Frank
Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong. Friday’s
line-up opens with Community of Hope Church band, followed by
singer/songwriter/guitarist<b id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4379"> </b>“Alex Bevan”<b>
</b>from 7-9PM. Then the ever-popular “Rockin’ Robots” takes the stage from
9-10PM. Local band “Out of Order” will
rock the stage on Saturday from 6-9PM, followed by round two of the “Rockin’
Robots”. “Out of Order” will return to close the festival after the
fireworks. “Haywire” (Rockabilly) opens
the festival on Sunday afternoon (3:00-4:30PM), followed by family fun
Bubbleologist “Gary Pearlman” from 5-6PM.
“Rock On! DJ” Gary Perl will host the popular pizza-eating contest at
6PM. The “King Bees” will grace the stage Sunday from 7PM till close, taking a
break at 8PM for the wildly popular Silent Auction and Pick-A-Prize Raffle
drawing.<o:p id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4380"></o:p></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4381"><o:p id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4382"> </o:p></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1467209614272_4383">New this year is “Eveningtide Yoga” on the football field, sponsored by
ALBA Anna Lobe Ballet Academy. It is designed for all levels. Bring a mat, or
just participate on the grass. It will be Saturday evening at 7:30 and is led
by fitness expert and personal trainer Jeanette Stanowick. There is a
Historical Society tent with activities and displays. The Petting Zoo sponsored
by Faulhaber Funeral Home will be returning this year on Saturday and Sunday
from 3:00-6:00PM, as well as the popular police dog demonstration (Saturday at
7:00PM). specialties. There is also a Beer & Wine Garden located next to the
entertainment tent. The Broadview Heights firefighters are also sponsoring their annual Pancake
