With tasteful guitar accompaniment and a voice as soft and sweet as a warm summer breeze, she will treat listeners to an evening of exquisite and melodious songs of Brazil, including classic standards as well as originals. Lyrics are in Portuguese and the music is inspired by bossa nova, jazz, and samba. Her show will be a duo set, with guitarist <b id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33386">Brian Kozak</b>.<br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33387"><br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33388">About the artist:<br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33389"><br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33390"><b id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33391">Luca Mundaca</b> grew up in a small town just south of São Paulo, an upbringing that gave her the chance to experience, absorb, and ultimately put her own spin on traditional bossa nova and jazz. Today, the Brazilian musician is a talented singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, and arranger; her work has been featured in many TV shows and movies, as well as two Putumayo compilation CDs: <i id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33392">Brazilian Lounge</i> and <i id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33393">Women of the World</i>.<br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33394"><br clear="none" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1469049790167_33395">After several years in New York City, she settled in Cleveland, where she is a regular performer at such venues as Nighttown and the Music Box Supper Club, giving sold-out performances for the latter's Bossa Nova Night each month.
