</head><body><p>The Youngstown Playhouse announces auditions for its first Grifith-Adler Series production of the 2016-2017 season, Extremities, by William Mastrosimone.<br><br>Auditions will be held on TUESDAY, JULY 26th and WEDNESDAY, JULY 27th from 6 - 8 pm at The Youngstown Playhouse. The production is directed by Timothy R. Thomas.<br><br>Cast requirements for Extremities include 3 women and 1 man, ages 21+.<br><br>Performance dates for Extremities are October 7 - 15, 2016.<br><br>For more information, please contact The Youngstown Playhouse at 330-788-8739<br><br>SYNOPSIS:<br><span class="text_exposed_show"><br>A young woman, Marjorie, is attacked in her home by a would-be rapist named Raul.<br>Marjorie's roommates, Terry and Patricia come home to discover that Marjorie has been assaulted and has subdued her attacker.<br>As the group determines the fate of Raul, each expresses an extremely different point of view about rape in society based on their individual life experiences. What follows is a dynamic look at how society defines sexuality, equality, humanity, savagery, vengeance, and justice.<br><br>Those auditioning are asked to prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary dramatic monologue AND will be reading from sides which will be provided in advance.</span></p><p><span class="text_exposed_show"></span></p><div class="io-ox-signature"></div></body></html>
