young actors to compete as a team at a National Junior Theatre Festival. Members of the team study and prepare an abridged version of a musical and compete against other youth theatre groups from across the nation. normal">Meet Me in St. Louis</i> December 17 and 18, 2016.

While rehearsing, the students receive pre-collegiate training from Notre Dame College and Mercury Theatre Company during the first part of their day of rehearsal. Classes include acting, voice, improv, movement and dance as well as technical aspects of theatre.
The third part prepares the students to compete at the National Performing Arts Festival (February 23-26, 2017). Mercury Theatre Company will produce the musical chosen to the public in the beginning of February before taking the abridged version to the NPAF.
Shows in consideration are <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Shrek, Rent, Big River,
