OH – Willkommen, beinvenue, welcome to the seedy nightlife of the Kit Kat Klub
as the Players Guild Theatre presents CABARET!<span> 
</span>Winner of multiple Tony Awards including the 1998 award for Best
Revival, CABARET takes place in a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a
close. A garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they
will forget all their troubles at the CABARET. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as
wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of
Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third
Reich. </span></p>

the direction of the Guild’s Resident Director, Jonathan Tisevich, with choreography
by Michael Lawrence Akers, musical direction by Steve Parsons, costumes
designed by Stephen Ostertag, lighting and sound design by Scott Sutton, and
scenic design by the Guild’s Producing Artistic Director, Joshua Erichsen,
CABARET is being reimagined and staged in the intimacy of the William G. Fry
Theatre. </span></p>

is scheduled to open on Friday, March 31 and run for 3 weekends through Saturday,
April 15, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at
2:00 PM, and two performances on the final Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.<span>  </span>Tickets for this Downstage musical are $27.00
for adults, $24.00 for seniors and $19.00 for those 17 years old and younger. <b>This production is recommended for mature
audiences only</b>. Tickets for all performances may be purchased online 24

is $45.00 per guest and includes the backstage pass to the opening night event
and a ticket to the performance.<span>
