<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Songwriting Made Simple featuring Jonathan Kingham and Ryan Shea Smith will take the stage at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19 at the Stocker Arts Center Cirgliano Studio Theatre
at Lorain County Community College.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Kingham and Smith are back again. They will perform with area students who have written amazing new songs with them during the week’s songwriting workshops. LCCC Early
College High School students and alumni will participate. Additionally, 8-year-old Avery will return to the stage with her mother, Tori Lambert. The Elyria second-grader was called onto the stage at a recent St. Jude Jam benefit and entertained the group with
her sing-along with Chris Janson. She plans to share a song she wrote about best friends.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">With diverse musical styles ranging from folk, pop and jazz to R & B, the concert is all about great songs. Kingham wrote his first song in 1996 and since then, has won
first place in The Unisong International Song Contest, has twice placed in the top five of the John Lennon Song contest, won first in the USA Songwriting Competition in the folk category as well as the Overall Grand Prize out of 33,000 entries, and was awarded
first place in the gospel category of the ISC songwriting contest. His singing has been featured in films, soap operas and on “Felicity.” Based out of Nashville he splits his time between touring the country and writing, recording and producing. In addition
to his solo career, Jonathan currently plays keyboard and steel guitar for Toad the Wet Sprocket.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Seattle native Ryan Shea Smith is also a veteran songwriter and recipient of multiple songwriting awards. His musical skill has been honed through jazz studies at the
University of Washington and a steady touring schedule. He is known for his singing voice and has an impressive command of keyboard and guitar. Smith’s sophomore release “Stay Awhile” is a John Lennon song contest winner.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
