<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">West Side Community House is seeking a Theatre Teaching Artist to work at its 2017 Summer of Sisterhood program. <br><br>Summer of Sisterhood is an 8-week performing arts camp for girls ages 10-18.<br><br>The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 1pm to 6pm from June 14, 2017 - August 4, 2017. <br><br>Compensation: $5,000<br><br>Duties & Responsibilities:<br>Develop and demonstrate theatre arts integrated lesson plans<br>Lead 30 to 60 minute session teaching theatre skills to youth ages 10-18<br>Direct and execute several dramatic performances<br>Teach a variety of acting techniques while making it fun and exciting <br>Assist with planning the final performance<br>Work independently and as a team<br><br>Required Experience:<br>A minimum of 2 years' experience as a teaching artist<br>Experience working with youth of all cultures and from all backgrounds <br>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br><br>This is an independent contract position.<br><br>Please send your resume to: Ali McClain, Youth Services Director (<a href="mailto:amcclain@wschouse.org">amcclain@wschouse.org</a>)</body></html>
