to stage world premiere of new romantic comedy</h3>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

Other Complications" written by Cleveland playwrights
Robert Noll and Edward J. Walsh</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">CHAGRIN FALLS, OH - Opening
Friday, Oct.13 for a three weekend run, Chagrin Valley
Little Theatre's River Street Playhouse presents the world
premiere of a romantic comedy by Cleveland playwrights
Robert Noll and Edward J. Walsh. Performances are 8 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 28, with a 2 p.m.
Matinee on Sunday Oct. 22.</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">LOVE, HONOR & OTHER
COMPLICATIONS is the tale of a May-September romance that
takes an unexpected turn. Bob (played by Mark Moore), is a
middle-aged man with plans to marry Kate (Talia Valline),
a much younger woman. When Kate introduces Bob to her
mother Maggie (Mary Mahoney), he realizes that Maggie was
his date to the high school prom, stirring intimate
memories. What could possibly go wrong? Directed by Cindee
Catalano-Edelman with co-director Don Edelman, the cast
also includes Steven Wright, Lisa Freebairn, and Adam V.
Young, with appearances by Rosi Jamison and Kourtney
Highland.</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">“Attendees should leave with
a smile on their face,” Walsh said. “These days we could
all use that.”</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">Walsh, who has been impressed
with the quality of the actors at CVLT, has been sitting
in on rehearsals and making slight script alterations
after seeing what works and what does not. His
collaborator, Mr. Noll, says that he and Walsh typically
meet in a room, discuss characters, settings and
plot-lines, and write the scripts together.</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">“Our characters are
compilations of people we know or have met,” Noll said.
“We both like to observe and study people.”</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">Walsh and Noll have written a
number of plays together and have seen them staged locally
as well as in Virginia, Kansas City, and off-off Broadway
in New York. Two of their jointly written works,
“Frankenstein’s Nightmare” and “One-on-One,” have been
published.</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">Both playwrights are members
of the Dramatists Guild and professional writers. Noll has
worked at many area professional theaters including The
Cleveland Play House, Kenley Players, Playhouse Square
Center, and Great Lakes Theater. Duting his tenure as a TV
writer/producer for NBC, WKYC-TV3, and WOIO-TV-19 he won
numerous awards, including nine Emmy Awards. He is now a
professor at John Carroll University.</p>
<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:10pt;">Walsh has a long career in
journalism, including work as a general assignment
reporter columnist and editor with publications like
Business Week, The Plain Dealer, and Cleveland Magazine..
He wrote and produced programming for WCPV National Public
Radio and has written and edited several books.</p>
