way to introduce young filmmakers to movie making competitions and film
festivals. Kids ages 7-17 will make a 31 second scary movie and submit
it to the festival. A panel of distinguished judges will select 3
winners at a public screening. Filmmakers can win cash, prizes and the
top 3 films will play at a local movie theater in front of a real
audience.

Rules & Terms
</span>
</h4>
<p> You must be between the ages of 7 and 17 to enter this contest.</p>
<p> Your movie must be exactly 31 seconds in length.</p>
<p> All movies must be PG or G. No guns may be used (real or fake.)
No realistic depiction of violence may be included in the film. Be scary
but not gory.
<br>Entries must be filmed and edited by the person submitting. Your
parents can help but the idea and execution needs to come from you. It
is a kids contest after all.</p>
<p>You can submit more than one movie (separate fees apply for each submission)</p>
<p>All submissions that meet the deadline will be judged. The judges will decide if your movie is appropriate for public screening.</p>
<p>Selected movies will be shown at a public screening at Lakewood Public Library on October 27, 2017</p>Three winners will be announced at the screening.
