Fall Session II begins on October 23rd and runs until December 10th. In addition to the popular classes, workshops and lessons, new classes in Youth Tap & Ballet, Teen & Adult Ballet, and Jazz Dance will be offered. Fairmount Center for the Arts was awarded Cleveland Magazine’s 2017 Best of the East WINNER in the category of ‘Best Dance/Theater Instruction’. In honor of that amazing achievement, our dancers will enjoy a unique and special opportunity to dance in the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square on November 17th, 8pm. FDT offers courses in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary with an introduction to Acrobatics. Recreational Dance and Fairmount Spanish Dancers is led by Artistic Director Libby Lubinger. Children (starting at 2 years), teens, and adults are able to participate in the recreational dance classes such as Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap. Youth Theatre Lab In Fairmount’s Youth Theatre Lab (YTL), young actors are currently working to develop skills in creative dramatics, script reading, singing, and choreography as well as gaining self-esteem and confidence in a caring, energetic atmosphere. YTL will present the production of ‘Kids’ Country’ at the Mayfield Village Civic Center in Mayfield Village, directed by Patti Susman. Show dates and times are Friday, November 17th at 7:30pm, Saturday, November 18th at 2pm, and Sunday, November 19th at 2pm.
