A<br>prepared resume and headshot would be appreciated.<br><br><b>ABOUT THE PLAY: “A THURBER CARNIVAL”</b> is a series of comic sketches based on the short<br>stories, cartoons and fables of James Thurber, one of America’s greatest humorists. Co-written<br>by Thurber and Cleveland-born actor Burgess Meredith, the 1960 revue won a Tony Award and<br>has influenced comedy revues from Laugh-In to Second City to Saturday Night Live, as well as<br>TV series like “My World and Welcome To It” and movies like “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.”<br>Details about the play and James Thurber can be found on <a href="http://www.wikipedia.org">www.wikipedia.org</a>.<br><br><b>ROLES</b>: Cast members (5 men and 4 women) play multiple roles ranging from mid-twenties to<br>mid-sixties. The revue’s various short sketches offer actors improvisational/pantomime<br>opportunities.<br><br><b>SCHEDULE</b>: Performances are March 2, 3, 4 (matinee), 9, and 10. Rehearsals take place on<br>Sunday afternoons, as well as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings thru February 17.
