</div><p><font size="4"><b>SYNOPSIS: </b> London, 1879. The prestigious Explorers
Club is in crisis: their acting president wants to admit a woman and
their bartender is terrible. True, this female candidate is brilliant,
beautiful, and has discovered a legendary lost city, but the decision to
let in a woman could shake the very foundation of the British Empire,
and how do you make such a decision without a decent drink?</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4">Grab your safety goggles for some very mad science involving deadly
cobras, carnivorous plants, irate Irishmen, and gravity-defying
libations.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4">All Roles, all ethnicities:</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>LUCIUS FRETWAY</b> – Male, 20ish to 50ish, a botanist and a man of science.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>PHYLLIDA SPOTTE-HUME </b>– Female, 20ish to 45ish, an anthropologist.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>HARRY PERCY</b> – Male, 20ish to 50ish; an intrepid explorer.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>LUIGI</b> – Male, any age, a NaKong tribesman. (Actor
playing this role must be comfortable with improv, movement, and
physical humor. LUIGI speaks his own language…literally.)</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>PROFESSOR COPE</b> -Male, any age; an herpetologist.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>PROFESSOR SLOAN</b> – Male, any age; an archeo-theologist.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>PROFESSOR WALLING</b> -Male, any age; a zoologist.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>SIR BERNARD HUMPHRIES</b> – Male, 40 or older; private secretary to Queen Victoria.</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>BEEBE</b> -Male, any age; an explorer. (This actor also plays the Irish Assassin.)</font></p><font size="4">
</font><p><font size="4"><b>COUNTESS GLAMORGAN</b> – A countess and twin sister to PHYLLIDA. (played by the same actress.)</font></p><p><br></p><font size="4">The
director is looking for actors who are comfortable handling an RP
British Dialect. While we'll spend more time during rehearsals refining
the dialect, this compilation gives a general idea of what to aim for
