But it’s also about the whirlwind of celebrity, and the all-too-often side affects of loneliness and addiction on the road to redemption.”</b></i> -Playwright Tom Frattare</div><div><br></div><div>This year’s Colombi New Plays Festival is centered on the themes presented in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America, with Part Two: Perestroika running April 27 – May 20 after the success of Part One: Millennium Approaches in January of this year. </div><div><br></div><div>Each year, the festival showcases new plays written by area writers, many of whom participate in Ensemble’s weekly open-door StageWrights Workshop.
