<h3 style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

is GOING PLACES this summer with a trio of short plays
(June 29 – July 14)</h3>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left"> Who knew
traveling was so much fun? Because good things come in
threes, Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is staging a trio of
short plays under the title GOING PLACES. Performances
will be on weekends June 29 through July 14 at the River
Street Playhouse, CVLT's intimate second stage.<br>
</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">Travelers
seeking direction in life are the common thread coursing
through the three theatrical works, according to the
production's director Kate Williams-Bernardo. And, just
like those summer road trips, the plays are a family
affair for the Bernardos, with Kate’s husband Don Bernardo
and sons Luc and Victor Bernardo cast in starring roles.
The cast also includes Mark Moore, Barbara Howitt, Theresa
Dean, Rebecca Semancik, and Michela Palma.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">The plays
include OH, THE HUMANITY by Will Eno, RELATIVE STRANGERS
by Sheri Wilner, and SONATA FOR ARMADILLOS by Jon Tuttle.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">In OH, THE
HUMANITY, two people seek meaning and direction in life
and are looking for a shred of certainty and consistency.
Then, a stranger arrives, but he doesn’t do what strangers
always do when they arrive.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">With
poker-faced humor, RELATIVE STRANGERS centers on a young
airline passenger who decides that the woman seated next
to her might be the mother she never had. She finds an
ally in a wacky stewardess who, unlike the reluctant
mother figure, believes that the two passengers are a
match made in heaven.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">In the
comedy/drama SONATA FOR ARMADILLOS, three passengers are
stuck on a hot Dallas-bound Greyhound bus. One wants to be
a cowboy, one is on the run, and the other is heading to
college to get her social graces. They find companionship
and forgiveness on their journey.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">GOING
PLACES will be staged at CVLT’s River Street Playhouse, 56
River St. in Chagrin Falls on Friday and Saturday evenings
at 8 PM. A Sunday matinee performance on July 8 is at 2
PM. Tickets are $12 general admission. Reserve your seat
by visiting CVLT.org, calling 440-247-8955 or stopping in
at the Box Office. Office hours are 1-6 p.m. Monday
through Saturday. Parking and seating are limited, so
advance purchase and arrival are encouraged.<br>
