recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is accepting applications
for a <span style="color:#333333;">Properties Carpenter to support a 7 show mainstage
season, school tour, 2 MFA Acting Program shows and a festival for new works. The
Props team consists of the Properties Manager, Assistant Properties Manager,
Properties Carpenter, Properties Artisan and Apprentice. Applicants should have
2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in regional theatre. Detailed
knowledge of advanced woodworking, metal working and welding required.</span> Working
knowledge of mechanics, rigging, and CAD a plus. <span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">Must be able to plan projects and work independently, have good
organizational and </span><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">communication skills. Props
Carpenter is primarily responsible for construction, restoration or
modification of furniture, set dressing and hand props built of wood, steel or
other materials and assists with the load in and strike of all productions Also maintains shop tools and equipment as
well as hardware,lumber and metal inventories. Valid driver’s license, able to
work at heights and to lift up to 75 lbs.
</span>Position
is Full-time Seasonal, eligible for benefits.
