Rehearsals – Monday through Thursday evenings 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.<br>

This is a dramatic comedy performed with no intermission.<br>
<br>
SYNOPSIS<br>
<br>
80-year-old Alexandra, is an artist living on her own in her
apartment in New York. Her children believe she should move into an
assisted facility. Conversations between mother and children have
escalated, and now they are at a stand-off. Alexandra is passionate,
intelligent and determined to remain independent… so determined in
fact, that she’s barricaded herself in her apartment, and filled it
with Molotov cocktails. One wrong step and the entire block will be
incinerated. This behavior is exactly why her one son and daughter
think she needs to move “someplace else” and have “someone” take
care of her. They devise a plan and ask a third sibling, Chris, to
act as a mediator between them and their mother in an effort to
bring Mom to her senses. Chris has his work cut out for him. And,
Alexandra – well, she has cocktails. Lots and lots and lots of them.<br>

Come prepared with 16-32 measures of music in the style of the show.<br>
Come dressed for dance/movement.<br>

All roles are open. Men, women, and children of all ages are
needed. The director encourages both family participation as well as
individuals.<br>
<br>
Rehearsals will run Sunday evenings 5-8 and Monday thru Thursday
evenings 6:30-9. All children under age 13 will be dismissed by 8PM
(except for the 2 weeks before the show opens).<br>
<br>
Rehearsals will begin Sunday September 23 and you will only be
called when needed.<br>
<br>
Performances are Nov 16 – Dec 16, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM
and Sundays Nov 26, Dec 2, and Dec 16 at 2 PM.<br>
