B), the oldest continuously operating regional theatre in America, is accepting
applications for a Sound Technician.<span>  </span></span><span style="color: rgb(38, 40, 42);">The Sound and Projection Technician
reports to the Sound and Projection Supervisor.</span></div>

<div style="background:white"><span style="color: rgb(38, 40, 42);"><br></span></div><div style="background:white"><span style="color: rgb(38, 40, 42);">Responsibilities include:</span></div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Assist with the
installation and strike of sound plots and projection equipment.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·</span><font face="Times New Roman"> </font>Assist with the
construction of any specialty items such as speaker stands or projection stands</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Program and
operate computers and mixing consoles</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Check all sound
equipment and video equipment prior to each performance making sure all gear is
in proper working order, including charged         batteries in all wireless equipment
and proper focus and alignment of projectors.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Execute cues
accurately during technical rehearsals and performances as called by Stage
Manager.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Help maintain
sound and video equipment and tools making sure they are in safe and proper
working order.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Maintain accurate
and up to date paper work for each production including sound plot and cue
sheets.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span>Keep booth, FX
room, and sound storage areas clean and free of debris.</div><div style="background:white"><span style="font-family: Symbol;">        ·<span style="font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: "Times New Roman";">  </span></span>Follow all health
and safety guidelines established by the theatre.  Report any unsafe conditions or practices to
your supervisor immediately.</div><div style="margin-left: 0.5in;"><br></div>

departments with in-house sound and video needs as necessary.</div><div style="margin-left: 0.5in;"><br></div>

<div>Qualifications:</div></span></font><font size="3"><span><ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc">
 <li class="ydpef7e8e36MsoNormal"><span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: garamond, "new york", times, serif; font-size: medium;">Knowledge of theatrical sound and video systems and equipment including mixing consoles, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, EQ and processing gear, media servers.</span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: garamond, "new york", times, serif; font-size: medium;">Experience with recording, editing and playback of sound effects, music and video.</span></span></li><li class="ydpef7e8e36MsoNormal">Experience with mixing live sound.</li>
 <li class="ydpef7e8e36MsoNormal">Working knowledge of theatrical sound and video software including
     QLab and WatchOut.</li>
 <li class="ydpef7e8e36MsoNormal">Able to work as a member of a team but also able to take on
     individual projects through to completion.</li>
 <li class="ydpef7e8e36MsoNormal">Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and able to work from
     ladders, personnel lifts and other heights.</li>
