running, con-con will produce the plays of grad students in the Northeast Ohio
Master of Fine Arts (NEOMFA) program in playwriting. The Festival will take place over two
weekends: </span><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Feb. 14-16 and Feb. 21-23
next year.</span><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"> </span><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Rehearsals will start the
second week of January.</span><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"> </span><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Those who have
participated in the past can testify that the Festival is an intensive, busy
and thoroughly fun experience!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';">This time there will be
two full-length plays (by Renee Shilling and by Morgan Elswick) and three 10-minute plays (Klae Bainter / Jacob Bremcamp
/ Ralph Meyers). A full-length and two 10-minute
plays will be presented the first weekend, and the other two plays will be
presented the following weekend. </span></p><p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';">In all, the four plays
have 21 roles (11 men, 10 women) of a wide range of ages. </span></p><p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';">Auditions will consist
of readings from the scripts, but the auditions will be <span style="text-decoration:underline;">general</span> Festival
auditions, not for specific plays. All five
directors will be present. It is very
possible that you could be cast in a play that you did not read from during
auditions. It is also possible that you may be cast in two plays, e.g. a
full-length + a 10-minute play, or two 10-minute plays.</span></p><p></p>
