<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#333333">With the support of Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC), Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to launch
<b>the Premiere Fellowship to support five local theatre artists from the disciplines of acting, directing, playwriting, design, and stage management.</b> Fellows will receive a $5,000 cash award, fees for project-based work, professional development, and access
to space, equipment, and other important assets needed to make their art. Each fellow will work on CPT premiere productions, and playwrights will receive a workshop of their own work.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#333333"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#333333">As part of the Fellowship, CPT will pair artists with career-advancing connections including potential mentors, collaborators, and peers, and CPT will seek to connect artists to the national field. Our comprehensive
selection process will evaluate the artist’s history of creating work, current career trajectory, and potential fit for this particular fellowship. We will select recipients based on our definition of excellence: artists creating transformative and impactful
experiences for their intended communities. <b>Through this fellowship, artists will gain vital, career-advancing experience, connections, and mentorship.</b><br>
