<p class="gmail-p1" style="margin:0px;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;font-stretch:normal;font-size:12px;line-height:normal;font-family:"Helvetica Neue";color:rgb(0,0,0)"><span class="gmail-s1" style="font-kerning:none">Company members were inspired by working with Gale McNeely, a traveling clown and commedia teacher from California, who led a workshop with the troupe this past fall. Clowning involves learning many physical skills.<span class="gmail-Apple-converted-space">  </span>The challenge for the company was finding ways to include all abilities in the comedy.<span class="gmail-Apple-converted-space">  </span>Through collaboration and creative thinking, the actors have devised a montage of clown acts that include tributes to traditional circus clowns, William Shakespeare, the Kinks, and Samuel Beckett. This production is co-directed by Wendy Duke and Ruben Ryan.</span></p>
