<p>This film recounts Jackie’s life from childhood days to his football
college career , his military service, his minor league career and through his 1949 season with the Brooklyn Dodgers.</p>
<p>The film stars Jackie Robinson as himself, Ruby Dee as Rachel
Robinson and Minor Watson as Branch Rickey and a cast of other famous
faces from the films of the time.</p>
