<i>Panther Women</i>… Is a Choreopoem that centers around 3 women’s experience as prominent members of The Black Panther Party and leaders of the civil rights movement: Elaine Brown, Assata Shakur and Angela Davis! It also correlates with the contemporary
African American Woman’s struggle to navigate in the contemporary world as it connects to the same struggles these “ Panther women” had in the 60’s and 70’s.
