<h3 style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#000; font-size:12pt;">Packed CVLT holiday calendar
includes "Annie," "An Act of God," and Christmas shows</h3>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">CHAGRIN
FALLS, Ohio - Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's holiday
season is packed with shows to suit all ages this November
and December.</p>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">
CVLT's Main Stage opens the Tony Award winning <em>Annie</em>
(book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, lyrics
by Martin Charnin) on November 15. Performances run
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM through December 14th, with
Sunday performances at 2 PM on November 24 and December
15. This beloved musical follows Annie (Brigitte Edwards),
a plucky Depression-era orphan in New York. With the help
of wealthy industrialist Oliver Warbucks (Eric Oswald),
she escapes from the orphanage run by scheming Miss
Hannigan (Jessica Hirsh) to search for her parents. The
show features classic songs like "Tomorrow," "It's The
Hard Knock Life," and "Easy Street." Director Michael J.
Rogan's cast of 40 performers includes parents and
children from many local families, with musical direction
by Lynne Provance and choreography by Jen Justice. Tickets
$21 regular, $17 student/senior. Group rates available.</p>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">CVLT's
smaller River Street Playhouse stage, director Yvonne E.
Pilarczyk presents a comedy for the adults: <em>An Act of
God</em> by David Javerbaum plays Fridays and Saturdays
at 8 PM from November 22 - December 7, with a 2 PM matinee
Sunday, December 1. Playwright Javerbaum is an Emmy,
Grammy and Peabody-awarded humorist with credits including
<em>The Daily Show</em>. His play started as a series of
Twitter posts that grew into a book before being recast
for stage. This comedic revision of the 10 Commandments
has Roland Moore as the beleaguered “God,” who is barraged
with requests from humans. They're constantly asking for
things and trying to interpret his answers by reading into
hurricanes, floods, volcanoes and other natural disasters.
Flanked by his angels “Michael" (Nick Grimsic) and
“Gabriel” (Neil Sudhakaran), God has grown weary of the
original Ten Commandments and has decided to rewrite them
with a wicked sense of humor that will keep everyone
guessing. Tickets are $13 general admission (Verily, leave
the Little Angels at home for this one! Rated 16 and up
due to some subject matter.)</p>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">For
the younger set, the theatre presents its 35th annual
"Holiday Show & Gingerbread Tea". The show, focused
toward children age ten and younger, includes Santa and
Mrs. Claus along with their friends, with a short,
interactive Christmas play that invites children to sing
along on stage as well as an exciting villain chase
through the audience. Parents are encouraged to bring
their cameras to capture all of the excitement as well as
a picture of their child with Mousie, Rudolph, or Santa.
The Holiday Show will take place December 7th and 8th,
with performances at 1:00 and 3:30 each day. The
Gingerbread Tea sittings take place half and hour before
and after each show in the beautifully decorated Sears
River Room on CVLT's second floor. Each tea-time is
limited to 60 guests, so early reservations are highly
recommended. Tickets for this event are $8 for the show,
with a $4 add-on per person for Gingerbread Tea seating. </p>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">Finally,
the popular Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra, under the
direction of Stephen A. Eva, returns with their annual
Christmas Wassail Concert, featuring holiday classics to
delight your whole family. The concert begins at 7 PM on
Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21 and at 2 PM
on Sunday, December 22. Wassail punch and cookies will be
served starting at 45 minutes before the concert. Tickets
$25 regular, $15 student.</p>
<p style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt">Tickets

at 440-247-8955, Monday through Saturday from 1-6 PM. The

Chagrin Falls Village, and the River Street Playhouse is
