six years Dr. Stacy Erickson-Pesetski has brought Shakespeare into a variety of
prisons in Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois. This talk will focus on her most
recent adventure reading plays with male offenders ages 13-18 at Logansport
Juvenile Correctional Facility in Indiana. Bringing Shakespeare into prisons
gives us insight into the universality of these centuries-old texts as well as
the talent and empathy hidden in our correctional facilities. </p>
