<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;" class="">An audition class will be held in both Dayton and Cleveland for the<br class="">newly formed <b class="">“Ohio Elite Tap Company (OETC)”</b> for advanced teen dancers<br class="">(13-18). Under the direction of Sarah Savelli and Kandee Thacker-Mann,<br class="">OETC is designed to provide a comprehensive pre-professional tap<br class="">education that incorporates history, choreography, improvisation,<br class="">music theory, and various tap techniques.<br class=""><br class="">OETC will have rehearsal one Sunday a month, and company members will<br class="">participate in select performances throughout Ohio. Debut works will<br class="">be presented at the “Cleveland Tap Experience” and the “Dayton Tap<br class="">Project” in 2021, and members will also experience the creation of a<br class="">virtual presence/video shoot. Upon Covid-19 containment, OETC<br class="">rehearsals will alternate between Cleveland and Dayton. Company<br class="">members are required to attend practices in both Cleveland and Dayton<br class="">to facilitate connection, relationships, and sharing with dancers from<br class="">both areas.
