<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">Kent Trumbull Theatre is
announcing auditions for "She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms"
by Qui Nguyen.  It will be performed on March 5 & 6 2021.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">A comedic romp into the
world of fantasy role-playing games, "She Kills Monsters"
is a high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty
ogres, and 90's pop culture – a heart-pounding homage to the geek
and warrior within all of us.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">We are looking for 8
female and 4 male actors (character breakdown below) to join us for
this virtual production.  This play will be performed via Zoom, all
actors will need a computer with a webcam and reliable internet
access to participate, as this play will be performed completely
virtually.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">Current rough rehearsal
schedule has rehearsals commencing January 25^th, with
rehearsals M-Th until opening.  The director will work with conflicts
and only call people who are needed on a given night.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">NARRATOR–A mysterious
female voice (think Galadriel at the beginning of Fellowship of the
Ring). May also double as Farrah the Faerie.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">TILLY EVANS–Agnes’s
younger sister, killed in an accident. Her D&D notebook gives a
glimpse into her life, both real and imaginary. In that world, she is
Tillius the Paladin.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">AGNES EVANS–Tilly’s
older sister, a senior in high school and a cheerleader. She is
average. Agnes embarks on a quest to learn more about her sister by
exploring the world of her D&D roleplaying game.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">CHUCK–A Dungeon Master
who used to play with Tilly.He has an awkward, self-deprecating sense
of humor.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">VERA–A gothy
cheerleader. Agnes’s best friend. 
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">MILES–Agnes’s
boyfriend.  A football player. 
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">KALIOPE/KELLY–Kaliope is
a white-haired Dark Elf. Agile, athletic, and a bit magical. She’s
a tracker. In real life she’s Kelly, a normal high schooler with
cerebal palsy.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">LILITH/LILLY–Lilith is a
Demon Queen. Leather-clad with horns, she’s the muscle of the
group.In real life, she’s a bit dorky. She was close with Tilly.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">ORCUS/RONNIE–Orcus is a
demon overlord of the underworld. In real life, Ronnie is Kelly’s
brother.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">THE GREAT MAGE STEVE–Steve
pops in and out of the game several times quickly. This is a great
small role for a crew member also interested in Zoom effects or stage
management.

<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">FARRAH THE FAERIE–A
beautiful forest faerie with an evil and violent side. May also
double as Narrator.</p>

</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in" lang="en-US">EVIL TINA and EVIL
GABBI–Two succubi who are evil demons from the demon world. In real
life, they’re cheerleaders who used to bully Tilly.</p>
