auditions for the 11<sup>th</sup> annual NEOMFA Playwrights Festival!</b></p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">Auditions to be held at the theatre located at </p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">2438 Scranton Rd. Cleveland, Ohio 44113</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">The Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts (NEOMFA) is a unique graduate
program that offers a terminal degree in Creative Writing. Each year, con<i>ver</i>gence-continu<i>um</i>
hosts a 2-weekend festival featuring works by students of the program. Each
show is given a full production for the playwright to experience their work on
stage. Rehearsals will start the second week of January.<span> </span>Those who have participated in the past can
testify that the Festival is an intensive, busy and thoroughly fun experience!<span> </span>Shows can range from 10-minute shorts to full
length.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">This season will feature 5 works: Two full-length plays and
three 10 minute/one act plays.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">In all, the five plays have at least 24 roles: from younger
to older actors, of all genders, races and ethnicities.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">Auditions will be <b>Sunday, December 5<sup>th</sup> at 2pm</b>
</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">Please arrive early to fill out an audition form and with knowledge
of your conflicts.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">Auditions will consist of readings from the scripts, but the
auditions will be general Festival auditions, not for specific plays.<span> </span>All four directors will be present. <span> </span>It is possible that you could be cast in a
play that you did not read from during auditions. It is also could be possible
that you may be cast in two plays, e.g. a full-length + a 10-minute play, or
two 10-minute plays.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">*One production may require full frontal male and top female
nudity. Comfortability with role will be asked on the audition form. </p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">Performance dates are:</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal"> Weekend 1 February 10<sup>th</sup> – 12<sup>th</sup> </p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal"> Weekend 2 February 17<sup>th</sup> – 19<sup>th</sup></p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">VACCINATION INFO: In order to be considered for casting, all
individuals auditioning are required to provide proof of vaccination at the
time of audition. All cast and crew are required to be fully vaccinated against
COVID-19 in order to participate in this festival.</p>
<p class="ydpb09e5cd4MsoNormal">All cast and crew will receive a stipend for their
participation</p>
