Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is excited to announce auditions
for UNNECESSARY FARCE by Paul Slade Smith, directed by Chris Bizub. Two
cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go! In a cheap motel room, an
embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while
in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on
videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who’s in which room, who’s
being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s hired a hit man, and why
the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.<br><div><br></div><div class="ydp68b2f71acxmmr5t8 ydp68b2f71aoygrvhab ydp68b2f71ahcukyx3x ydp68b2f71ac1et5uql ydp68b2f71ao9v6fnle" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><div class="ydp68b2f71acxmmr5t8 ydp68b2f71aoygrvhab ydp68b2f71ahcukyx3x ydp68b2f71ac1et5uql ydp68b2f71ao9v6fnle">Auditions will be Monday & Tuesday, July 11 & 12 – 7:00PM – 10:00PM at the theater (9543 Broadview Road, next to the police station. Callbacks (if needed) will be determined at a later date. Performances will take place September 2 – 17, 2022, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30PM and Sunday, September 11 at 3:00PM. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Bring a list of conflicts from July 25-September 17.
