<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal">Cleveland Play House (CPH) is seeking a Hair and Wig Technician and Dresser to join the Wardrobe team for the production of American Mariachi.

<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal">Responsibilities include: </p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> As led by the Wardrobe Supervisor as part of a team, coordinate pre-show wig and costume preset in dressing rooms and backstage
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Following the instruction from the Wig Designer, maintain the styling and cleaning of wigs, falls and hair pieces for the run of the production
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Manage wig and costume changes during performances
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Complete post-show cleanup for each performance, including wig maintenance throughout the run of the show
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and anti-racist culture at CPH by building positive relationships with staff, and immediately addressing instances of micro aggressive or harmful language or
behavior </p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Inform Wardrobe Supervisor of any wig or costume repair or other notes and supply needs
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
</p>

<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal">Required skills include: </p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Wig, fall and facial hair piece maintenance including knowledge of blocking wigs, and experience putting wig on and removing wigs from actors heads
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Knowledge of general clothing and costume construction
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Ability to focus attention on detail and follow repeatable actions in a fast paced schedule
</p>
<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Symbol;">·</span> Ability to work independently and collaboratively to find solutions to challenges

<p class="ydp9a5a77d2yiv0854753229MsoNormal">Work Schedule: 6 days a week, Tuesday-Sunday; Designer Run, Tech week and Preview Performances include morning, afternoon, evening and weekend hours; Performances primarily evening and weekend hours with two shows Saturday and a matinee
Sunday; 4-hour minimum calls </p>
