<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">St. James Catholic Church will continue its Sounds of St. James concerts with a special Festival of Nine Lessons and Carol</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">on Saturday, December 17, at 7:30 pm. This will feature singers from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music accompanied on the</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">organ by Adam Chlebek, St. James' music director performing Christmas works by Elgar, Lauridsen, Biebl, and Howell­­­s as</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">well as a selection of classic traditional carols. The program will follow the Lessons and Carols format of nine short readings</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><font face="Times New Roman, serif"> </font></span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">from scripture telling of the coming of the Messiah and the Nativity narratives of the Gospels, each followed by a musical selection. This will be followed by a Benediction and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament as well as refreshments downstairs. </span></div>
