Put on a show, teach a masterclass, or activate an unusual space! The BorderLight Festival returns in 2023 with our first all-Fringe festival, but applications close <span dir="ltr" style="text-decoration: underline;"><span dir="ltr">February 28</span></span><sup><span dir="ltr" style="text-decoration: underline;"><span dir="ltr">th</span></span></sup><span dir="ltr" style="text-decoration: underline;"><span dir="ltr">.</span></span> The


 festival will take place <span dir="ltr" style="text-decoration: underline;"><span dir="ltr">Aug. 3 - Aug. 5</span></span>, drawing thousands to downtown Cleveland’s Playhouse Square neighborhood. BorderLight provides a venue, box office, marketing support,


 and free events for artists. 70% of box office revenue is returned to artists, who can also see other shows in the festival for free on standby.<o:p></o:p></p>

We welcome your proposals to produce plays, puppetry, circus, comedy, immersive experiences, performance art, spoken word, cabaret, burlesque, dance theatre, etc. Please also consider the Fringe if you are a choreographer, installation artist, site-specific


 visionary, movement practitioner, virtual reality creator, musician, or any creative who wants to explore performance and storytelling! Or, propose to offer a masterclass or present work in development. <span style="font-size: 12pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
