Title: Administrative Assistant<br />Part Time<br />Salary: Commensurate with experience, $20 Per Hour<br />Reports To: Executive Director<br /><strong><br />Mission</strong><br />The Foluké Cultural Arts Center (FCAC or Foluké Arts) is committed to building self-esteem,<br />discipline and a drive for excellence among at-risk children and youth through dance, drama and<br />voice training, and arts education; providing professional performance opportunities for program<br />participants, and enhancing an appreciation for cultural an ethnic diversity. Foluke Cultural Arts<br />help children develop critical life skills such as commitment, follow-through, and teamwork.<br /><br /><strong>Overview</strong><br />Administrative Assistants role is to help support the organization in preparing documents, filing,<br />communication, and upkeep.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<br />● Maintain office/arts space<br />● Maintain filing system<br />● Ability to communicate through email and in person<br />● Schedule appointments and maintain calendar<br />● Prepare invoices<br />● Donor Database upkeep<br />● Prepare official documents<br />● Website upkeep<br /><br /><strong>Requirements</strong><br />Bachelors Required, (Sub 4 years or more of experience)<br />● Experience in a nonprofit or business environment with similar responsibilities<br />● Ability to make independent decisions and build consensus as needed<br />● Experience with email marketing tools, excel, microsoft word or google suite<br />● Proven capacity to work independently and as a team member<br />● Knowledge and experience in organizing, development, and some web design experience<br />● Quality written and verbal communication skills<br /><strong><br />Statement</strong><br />Foluke Cultural Arts Center Inc. is dedicated to the growth and development of future leaders<br />and artists.
