<div dir="ltr"><div>OVATION SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN</div><div><br></div><div>Emerald Theatre Company, Ohio's newest pre-professional training program for students in grades 5-12, announces Ovation! Summer Musical Theatre Intensive, taking place July 31st - August 5th on the campus of John Carroll University. <div><br></div><div>Ovation! Summer Musical Theatre Intensive challenges students in grades 5-12 to further their experience, knowledge, and education in the theatrical arts, and to foster a love and passion for performing in all students regardless of gender, race, or financial situation. Our goal is to enrich and encourage. creativity and artistic expression in young performers, while building a solid foundation of skills upon which to grow their craft. We strive to provide a learning experience that fosters growth and instills confidence while helping each participant find their potential as a performer and as a member of their broader community. Our faculty is comprised of professional artists who have worked on Broadway, National Tours, International Tours, and at major regional theatres around the country. </div><div><br></div><div>The week includes intensive rehearsals in dance, acting, and music; masterclass and seminar opportunities, discussions on current Broadway and auditions trends, and for the older students preparing for college auditions, an opportunity to go over their materials one-on-one with our faculty. At the end of the week, students will perform a fully produced and themed revue/showcase that is open to the public. </div><div><br></div><div>The program runs from 1pm - 5pm daily, with additional rehearsals for selected ensembles and soloists from 6pm - 9pm. Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a $250 fee to participate in this program; registration and further information can be found at <a href="http://www.emeraldtheatrecompany.org/" target="_blank">www.emeraldtheatrecompany.org</a>. There are a small amount of need-based scholarships available and can be applied for by messaging us at <a href="mailto:info@emeraldtheatrecompany.org" target="_blank">info@emeraldtheatrecompany.org</a>.</div></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
